That storm was pretty heavy at times; would have sucked a bit to have been out there under those conditions. I ended up with 73 miles, since I rode from home in Arlington out and then back home from Kathy's place in Shirlington. Nice ride, well-executed (other than the late starts, ha); thanks for putting it together. Next one leaves earlier and spends more quality time in the bars... Steve and Kathy got a ride from Baltimore back to DC The rest of the DC crew made it to mile 75 before the threats of darkness and thunderstorms thwarted their plans. Next year (if we do it again), I'll have to figure out something better for the departure times so no one has to get home too late. sorry guys. quick follow up:
